Those with kids, or those adults who are young at heart, won't want to miss Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium's Zoo Boo! Happening 9am to 4pm both Saturday, October 19, and Sunday, October 20, this Halloween-inspired event combines costumes, animals, candy and fun! Dress up like your favorite animal, play ghostly games for treats, and look around the zoo for all of their festive fall decorations. You can also watch the animals at this fall-themed weekend, as Suki the elephant stomps giant pumpkins, the animals enjoy fall treats, and there’s even a costume parade! And don't forget the pumpkin carving contest. The catch ... it's underwater! Watch as divers carve pumpkins underwater in the Northwest Waters habitat. Admission is free with Zoo membership. For those without a membership, tickets range from $23 to $26 for adults, $12 to $24 for seniors (65+), and $16 to $18 for youth ages 3 through 12.
